New to site. Creating perpetual dwc rooms

Post by TheChef »

Hi All,

Been growing for 12 months now. Did a few when I was younger but what I actually harvested doesn’t count πŸ™ˆ.

I have been growing in soil but am currently starting to convert to dwc (2 buckets at the min) as I have found getting soil into my grow space a messy task.

Strains I have grown have been:

Lemon haze
Pineapple haze
LSD
Triple cheese
Gorilla skittlez
Tangerine dream
Blueberry OG

I have some lemon cheese seeds also burning a hole in my pocket but I don’t have space for them yet.

I run a 2 room set up with various aged plants all the way through As cutting all the plants at once was too time consuming with my Job.

Anyone else run a setup like this?

Welcome to the forum! Tasty strains in that list. Tangerine Dream from Barney’s Farm is a personal favorite. Sounds like a cool setup. Look forward to seeing it.

Welcome to GR420,

Sounds like you have a plan and there are some mad strains on your list so fair play.

I'm a coco grower personally but I do run a 2 tent setup to keep a cycle of sorts, not that it ever ends up that way lol.

Make yourself at home.

Hey TheChef,

I'm currently running a RDWC for that same reason of being able to dispose of the water easier than soil etc, problem I have is with pump noise but I will get there. Look forward to seeing your setup dude so get yourself a grow diary up and I will be following for sure.

Hiya! So with dwc/rdwc, depending on where you're growing, optimal plant conditions require a chiller. When I ran dwc in a basement I had a 4 bucket custom diy current culture setup that I pieced together for my flower room and then ran a 4x4 veg tent with a 6 slot single 40 gallon current culture tub. I also had a smaller 12 slot diy dwc cloner that I would transplant into the 6 slot bucket which would then move into the mother room If you look at my IG: Terp_Pharmer you'll see some pictures of the setup.
