As some of you know im a keen angler, who else fishes on here ?

I used to fly fish for trout in Scotland but I've now just started some spinning from the beach and rocks on the Canaries. Yet to catch anything but who cares? The peace and quiet and scenery can't be beaten

What's your poison?

I have been fly fishing most of my life but with all the regulations and all the loop holes i have to go through where i live now i have decided to take a break.

Ive only ever fly fished for pike, i have Rutland close by which most fly anglers will know of

Like the fishing alot more on the east coast than the West. Nothing but walleye and pike here which are fun but i like smallies and trout more.

Carp man here, done most other types and now settled for carping just love a couple of days away from it all and a nice stack of bud

the last time i fished was in 1984 the minors strike,i made a killing selling fresh salmon + trout down the pub, i never used a rod and real then just a GAFF + minors lamp we`d go on the rise and fall of the tide,smoke loads even av a bbq on the trout tho we used rods with maggots on the hooks . shocking ennit for a quick kill i`d tap them on the head on the end of my para boot soul. i did go course fishing as a kid.

i remeber one night we had 64 rainbow trout between 4 of us,we`d go fishing 3 nights a week during the strike see. nock them out £1.50 a piece. on the trout salmon fetched more + elvers were the bobby dazzler of the crop. fished fuk aye i fished.
