Refused entry because of no mask? [UK]

Just followed an old chap into morrisons who never had a mask on, they chased him down and asked him to put one on. He simply said no i find them irritating and they let him go ablut his business. I've been having to wear mask & gloves at work for months though and its not optional.

I went to Morrisons to get some petrol without a mask on, and she was fine about it. I also went to Lidl without a mask. The cashier was wearing one, but it was on his chin rather than covering his mouth and nose.

I went to Sainsbury's tonight. I was the only customer in there without a mask, which surprised me. I thought they'd be quite a few. There were two others who weren't wearing one. The lady at the tobacconist and a cashier at the tills. I didn't get any hassle from anyone.

Good I’m glad it went tidy for u , I’m hearing lots of shit over masks , the ppl for them shouting , the ppl against them shouting , all at each other another thing for everyone to turn against each other 2 weeks time it will b something else like vaccines everyone will b on about bye bye masks then lol

Both Sainsbury's and ASDA publicly stated that they wouldn't enforce the rules, so I was expecting others in there not to be wearing them. I've seen a number not wear them in ASDA, so was expecting the same at Sainsbury's.

I too am please it went tidy for me. I can do without the hassle.

My local pizza/kebab joint has recently put a poster on the door asking people to wear masks. They've not said anything to me, and I'm in there most nights. None of the staff, and all but one of the drivers, are not wearing a mask. The one that did, had it on his chin and covered nothing essential.

Yea fed up of masks , gloves and dirty sheets of paper towels being left in shopping trolleys by inconsiderate ppl , i can’t understand that if it’s that contagious where’s the special bins lol
The virus will get me in pub but not in Tesco not in work with manky kids and a load of diff ppl indoors most of day but will get me if there’s more than 2 in my local shop my mind boggles more weed needed
