Re: Tips pointing down
You in biobizz soil too. All mix? If so that is pretty hot. I dont think i fed for ages with that.
Totally drop the fish mix now theyre flowering (it's great stuff but soooo strong i think i only when up to 2ml a litre and that was when they were trees)
Plain water, let it dry. Plain water again. And repeat. That's what i' d do.

Re: Tips pointing down
yes you should.
thats way way too much nutrient to be throwing at it.
flush it out and feed it the 1ml per litre grow, and 2 ml per litre bloom and 1 ml per l of the heaven. you dont need the rest of it, trust me.

Re: Tips pointing down
It's Light mix so it shouldn't be too hot and also i stopped adding fish and biogrow all together and just added 1 ml of bloom. For the flush in a 3 gal pot how much water should i use?

20% of the total water runs off (comes out the bottom)frankthirtyspears wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 12:43 pmIt's Light mix so it shouldn't be too hot and also i stopped adding fish and biogrow all together and just added 1 ml of bloom. For the flush in a 3 gal pot how much water should i use?
Plain water for a bit. I quite like some bio bizz nutes (some!) But a general rule is start with half whatever they advise and add more if needed.

Re: Tips pointing down
Fish mix is loaded with N. I'm not 100% but alg-a-mic probably is too as it's cold press seaweed.

Re: Tips pointing down
id go with 4 to 5 times the pot total capacity, to flush it out. that should clear most of it out.
then next watering , once its dried out , give it what i mentioned previously.
Should get them back on track.

Re: Tips pointing down
ach, dont listen to him, hes always been trouble that one......
if you want rid of the excess nitrogen it needs flushed.
The proper reaction to high nutrient concentrations is flushing — used to keep roots and the plant safe from damage by excessive nutrient levels.
Because organic media particles are negatively charged, negatively charged nitrate nitrogen and phosphate ions are repelled from the particles and are the first nutrients to leave the root zone when a flush is applied. Without nitrogen in the root zone, the plant’s biological processes will be starved, and it will turn to scavenging and moving nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (NPK) and magnesium from older tissue to the current growing points. but this wont effect you, because once you have flushed, you will be resuming feeding, just at a lower level. if the plants are over fed they store the excess nutrient in the root zone and in the buds.
you will be effectively flushing out the excess nutrients. Giving them plain water for a few feeds admittedly wil also flush them out, but it will just take longer, and autos dont have time to spare
But its up to you...

Re: Tips pointing down
I'm using allmix and they downtown have any feed until week 4, then I started on half amounts, I'm up to full amounts now but my plants are showing some signs of nute burn.
I've been using the same as you but no alg-a-mic or fish mix.
Looking at the biobizz feeding charts, you should only use biogrow or fishmix not both, biogrow for indoor, fish mix for out. You are duplicating the same fertiliser.
Check you have the latest chart:
