Thanks shipmate but it’s the first time it’s ever been used that’s why , I’d like to say I’m a veteran but this is my first ever inside grow, I usually pop a few seeds outdoors only but this year did both and looking forward to over winter growing.
That's cool I've been in soil running outdoors for a long time . Indoor hydroponics grow 10 yrs plus ago didn't go great but this last year I decided to move it indoors and try may hand at autoflowers and I haven't looked back I'm dancing with photos and a revolving auto grow for now and a couple comps go team #Tropical Cookies XXL

Quick update from me and I accidentally broke the stem on one of the seedlings (the Hydro) and the Coco just hasn't done anything apart from look like a static wax work seedling.

Image

So I am attempting to get the broken one rooted from what was left but not hopeful as she only has the original seed leaves. I have dropped another seed into water and will consider dropping another depending on how well the Coco does.

Image

Totally take the blame for the Hydro stem break fail, but the Coco one is not so clear as the original seed leaves have been like a solid wax since the original germination. Hopefully it is just doing it's thing under the hood ;o) To be fair the Hydro one had a good root going on until I broke it off :-(

On the plus side if it does germinate it's not going to be as Stretchy as it was before ;o) Always a plus side is at least possible.

Image

3x Seeds down - only 2 spares left!

The Hydro one was the one that started upside down as far as I remember (which is not a clarification at all).

Still you are participating,as a noob, lot to say about that itself. I had an ex said trying new things and suckin at it and continuing to try is true bravery....a path to enlightenment thru experiences and experimentation.
constant Failure is constant trial with error as an ultimate result, error is pretty vague let's try that again.
Some great advice right there.

I am a software developer by trade and that mostly involves starting with something that either doesn't exist, is not currently working (or at least not working well), or can be improved. As a developer I have to learn from what is already in place (plus a lot of Googling) and you fix that shit and make it work next time or preferably you start again with what you previously learnt. Something to be said about using that in real life ;o)

No idea, but if it makes a difference I have been here for 86 days and it's my 2nd attempt at growing (ignoring the different test cases I have at the moment) - first attempt was over 30 years ago ;o)

Apart from the amazing amount of choice for seeds etc, it's not really that much different than it was when I was 19 - apart from this time I am aware of the environment so that I *hopefullly* don't get Spider Mites - them BORG Fairys is enough to put me off for another 30 years ;o)
