When I made the mix I added silicon first, rhizo next then A&B. It went cloudy after adding the A&B and went back clear after I ph’d the mix. I bought a new silicon yesterday so I will give that a try in the next few daysSpartangrown wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 5:50 pmIt's all good brother! I just think that that might be exactly the problem here, silica was added later and it made some micros and possibly calcium unavailable to the plants. The new mix order of Silica then cal mag then A then B then additives will hopefully fix the issue.

Re: Help me please!
I think the related to PH and the sudden change. That's what causes the elements to lock out. I was always told the orientation doesn't matter but you should dilute the silicon in a few litres of water first to stop the reaction happening. I use that method with silicon and PH down and never get clouds.

Re: Help me please!
Little update for everyone. The plants seem to be growing now but the new growth looks a bit shrivelled up like lettuce leaf to me ? To the Video app.php/vgallery/gward20/4/364

Re: Help me please!
Hey, so the twisting is Ca deficiency. It will grow out of it once new tissue appears. The twisting you're seeing is damage from when you locked out Ca with the silicon. Like Josh said, they're fine :) if they growing, you're safe :)

Re: Help me please!
Grumpygrower nailed it, I have nothing to add but to say I agree! Just keep doing what you are doing and it should correct itself.grumpygrower wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 9:42 pmHey, so the twisting is Ca deficiency. It will grow out of it once new tissue appears. Re: Help me please!
Hey Gward20,
So, that could be the previous damage growing out still but the three fingered leaves look a bit suspect to me. Have they been through some sort of weird light/dark period or something? Looks like something hormonal.
One more thing, that fan is way WAY to powerful :) you only want light movement around the plant so they dance. With those oscillating fans, I point at the wall rather than the plants. That slows the air down considerably so you don't end up with windburn issues.
