Purple problem

Hello! First grow and I've got an issue I can't seem to find a solid answer to. I have purple edges on my leaves and red/purple stems.

Maybe phosphorus deficiency? Doesn't seem to line up with other pics online.

I fed them twice in short succession, Maybe over feeding? I flushed them out as i thought this was the culprit and I believe they need to be cut down soon.

If not that then too much light... Maybe none of these...

Any ideas?

Tomato grow bag soil
3 litre plastic pots
fed with miracle grow organic liquid feed slightly diluted down
autos
18/6 under MiGro 100+ 12" away

Some do it, some its calmag. Elijah hit the nail on the head re overfed imho.

It`s not phosphorous deficiency or any other for that matter i`d say its either genetics or cooler temps but it looks more like its just got purple traits to me and theirs not much to worry about.

Keep an eye on it, could be the start of a phosphorous deficiency but it could be genetics.

When you say "miracle grow organic liquid feed slightly diluted" yes you have to dilute feeds into a big jug of water, so how are you mixing the feeds and feeding the plant?

Sorry not clear enough. I have been diluting in a 2 litre bottle filled with water following guidelines on the nutrients but with slightly less than recommended.

Starts purpling the veins and edges of leaves if it is a phosphorous def...



but as I said, it could be genetics I'd keep an eye on it in case it turns into something.

That`s sound, really don`t sweat it, it just like its genetics. Plant looks pretty cool from here

Ah, all cool then.

I know The Captain is using that feed on his grow at the moment, so hopefully he pops in and helps.
I'm only using it on my cucumbers this year, so I'll step back and let the experts sort you out.

You sure they haven't got cold? That looks like things got too cold to me. I mean, it could be a deficiency as you have some red petiole and some yellowing and even some tip burn.

It sounds and look like she got cold and you may of upset her with fluctuations when feeding then flushing. Plants don't seem to like sudden changes like that.

Thanks! I'm using a wifi temp controller and have all the data logged - always between 20-26C.

Could any of that be caused by a light intensity being greatly increased part way through?

These girls have had a lot of shocks and an inconsistent environment. I would think you're right, I'm going to attempt to be a little more hands off next time. Think I've been an anxious new parent. I'm amazed they've produced anything tbh.
