Invisible sun light for 1.2 X 1.2

Post by Treetrunk »

Hello to all. First post and just finishing first grow. I've made a few mistakes and don't plan on repeating them. Grew from seed Lemo and Blue cookies. Started with 3 Lemo and 1 BC. 2 of Lemo turned out male😟. I've got 4 BC clones ready to grow once these are finished. I'm scroging 1.2 X 1.2 and can anyone recommend which light to use. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, you'll find this a very helpful and friendly place (it's got me through my second grow!)

Invisible Sun has a very neat 'which light' calculator on their site, you can find it here:

They are superb lights and the customer service is brilliant. You cannot go wrong with them.

Good luck!

Welcome along, I think the 4R will be your best bet but others will be along to confirm or deny

Agreed. I have the 3R in a 0.6x0.6 and it's more than enough. I think Point5 has the 4R in a 1m something tent. Perfect fit.

I second what tictok says, I threw out my 600w hps in favour of an invisible sun light and haven't regretted it for 1 second. If your using the same light for full cycle growing then get one of the new BR ones, from what I've seen their damn good. I use an ish150 4k board in my 75x75 veg tent and 4x ish 150 3k boards with and r strip in the middle in my 1m2 flower tent and I'm pretty happy. In that size I'd probably build an ish 5r or 6r for good coverage and scrog but it depends whether you need corner to corner coverage or not

The ISH530 or 2 X ISH265s will serve you very well.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I'm thinking of the BR version as that seems to cover all bases. I'm just torn now weather to go for 2 X 265 or 1 X 530. Im going to use this light from Veg to flower. Am I making the right choice?? Thanks 😊

I'm thinking along those lines. Gives a bit more flexibility 👍
