Exactly, too much locks stuff out and looks like a deficiency.Marcus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 3:44 pmHI Mr NIce, any reason why you are giving them calmag?
I'd drop the calmag and just give them some normal feed.
Feeds are balanced to give plants everything they need, when you add calmag it knocks that balance out.
You got what looks like a cal deficiency to me.
What ferts are you using?

Re: Rust spots ....?
Yea we have it over here. Not a massive issue but I've seen people with it. One guy I knew ended up having to replace a load of equipment as it kept returning.Thejokerjosh59 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 4:23 pmYou guys have tobacco mosaic Disease over there? Mostly just wondering lol got me thinking

Fuck eh, that sucks :( and I’m pretty sure it can get it, even if it’s not nearly as sever. But fuck not like I’m a plant virologist or something.....oh wait.....no no I’m not. She’s looking good tho! Utilize that space brotherMarcus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 4:36 pmI've got and had plants with variegation on leaves, I thought it was tobacco mosaic, but after reading around the net a fair percentage of folks think cannabis can;t get it. Dunno though.Thejokerjosh59 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 21, 2020 4:23 pmYou guys have tobacco mosaic Disease over there? Mostly just wondering lol got me thinking

PLants still see to do well with the funny stuff, my bubba kush has got it and she's a decent plant. (I chopped her down to 5 koalas as she was a space filler on my last grow)
But yeah, if it is mosaic virus I got it from some Barney's farm testers.

Re: Rust spots ....?
I see the slightly burned tips and that's a sign of overfeeding. So I have to agree with the people before me and say it is possibly a nutrient lockout of Calcium. Too much added P (phosphorus), can lock out Calcium. To correct this, plain water "feeds" with no calmag even, when the plants need watering should help the plant correct this. If it is a build up of P in your root zone an enzyme product or microbe (because they create enzymes naturally) or even a flushing agent could help break down that salt build up.
The only other thing that stood out to me was you said your PH 6.3 feed is too low for soil grows. Calcium needs a ph of 6.5 or higher in soil to have a better plant availability. There are different ph nutrient availability charts for hydro or soil, hydro tends to have lower ph ranges where soil is a little bit higher.
I would do a plain water ph to 6.5-6.6 the next couple waterings. The spots won't likely "heal" but just look to see if it stops spreading. If it does, you know that you have corrected the problem.

I think the big f up here is me using loaded old soil from another grow lesson learnt their dont use old soil unless you flush the old nutes out or just dont use old soil full stop
Plain water for now
Thanks GG, Mracus, Josh , Spartan
