Nice thread
I've not grown anywhere near as many strains as I would like but out of those that I have I'd have to say Cinderella 99. Lovely stuff
I didn't grow it and it's not a classic by any means but I had some lovely Blue Cheese a while back. Perfect stone for me at the time

Real DJ Shorts Blueberry, the original and the best BC bud strain around. Locktite is pretty amazing. Roadkill Skunk is my personal favourite as far as high goes although Caramela is up there as well as Supermellon as well. There’s also a number of strains in my top ten that we’ve breed under our Chronnabis and SangriaAndSmoke names that are great such as Midnight Mango and Cheesus Christ Superstar
Good idea for a thread gonna be trying some new ones I’m sure

100 percent the price is stupid!!! and the quality has went way down hill since it was released, I should of worded it better but I ment the Og like F1s and shit from him back when they were also a normal price was unreal. Haven’t had it in a while so I’m sad to hear they haven’t picked it back upElijahgrowz wrote: ↑Sat Jun 20, 2020 7:06 amNot a fan of DJ didn't really hit me and I've definitely tasted better, and the price! Ehh I take the question different i guess. Not gonna list my favorites the list would be to long and many if not most you can't buy you have to build a relationship with a grower for a while to even see let alone put your hands on some of the real gems. What I think everyone should grow and/or try at least once are most of the old landrace and at least before lots of hybridization. Acapulco Gold, Hindu Kush, Thai, oaxacan gold, oaxacan red, Panama red, Maui wowie, couple African and Afgani strains i can't recall at the moment. There are terpene and cannabinoid profiles that have been lost and they were chosen to cross for a reason.
Anyone that has time for drama is not gardening enough.

Re: Which strain should everyone have grown/tried once in their lifetime?
That's a great question bro...and one i have contemplated over many hours at the end of a spliff. Because its so subjective...Because of that I tend to think you need to break it down to the main cultivars first, being but not limited to the following:
- Haze ( predominantly thin leaved equatorial varietals)
- Inidca/Afganica (predominantly wide leaved Himalayan varietals)
- Skunks/Hybrids (Afi dominant)
- Skunks/Hybrids (Sativa dominant)
From those four sub categories, you probably want to try at least 3-5 of each. Then you get a idea of the history of cannabis through chemo type and growing characteristics. By the end, you would definitely know where your tastes lean.
Haha but personally bro...I think every grower has their own "white whale" out there...we are all chasing something we once had...or the next unknown amazing pheno type...or both.
Each seed is a roll of the dice...one of the many reasons I keep growing new seeds/strains
