I’m guessing it’s similar tech to magnetic beaker spinners we use in the extract lab
That is exactly what I am trying to make to 'stir' my nutrients before I auto dose them.
Damn and I just purchased some plastic coated magnets (and they aint cheap!) - I bet you could have got me some old used ones ;o)
And as far as I know the stuff you are using is also NOT pwm based - but again -

automation done for you in one easy step not cheap tho plus you can control heat all the nessary variables you need to control
I can already do all that and more with mine - got Air Conditioner support (Infra Red Sender) going in this weekend ;o)
Rather than adjust the voltages my current software just turns the heater on and off (depending on the sensors) - adjusting the actual heat from my heater would be so much more controllable if I could automate the wattage! and that is why this is interesting ;o) The ability of adjusting the voltage/current on the fly (think slow down the recirculating water pumps on demand) would be a game changer for me. Definitely going to be looking into what chips they are using in that...

Sounds like you have a killer set up. We had a similar set up with a sensor array and and a little automation for stuff like irrigation and temp. We are also hoping to go back with something a bit more programable. I don’t really make those decisions (buddies are a engineer and a industrial electrician) but the more I know the better lol hoping they don’t go to over board because the less we control the more I worry lol

Wow, thanks lads. I just wanted to know if it will make my ac fan hun if I use one. I'm currently using a voltage stepper but it hasnt got a temperature probe and I fancied something that could do a bit more. Thing is I cant be having any fan hum though and I'm trying to find a controller that fits the bill for my ac fans. I really should upgrade to an ec fan I know but one of those plus a controller with the functionality I want is gonna bend me over a little too much
