Mr VS Mrs Tomato 🍅
Thought I'd post this one as a bit of a laugh.
Mrs and myself was having a merry joke about her tomatoes last year. I swore to prove that a little extra goodies in my soil would give faster a better yields.
The both tomatoes come from 3 Alacante tomatoes from a nursery. All 3 exactly the same height. Planted in similar sized pots the same day. Mrs used a mix of coco and compost fertiliser. Straight water out of the tap.
I re used my old coco from last year. Amended as usual (see my diary for what I use) and some compost thrown in too. Then I use my Ecothrive neutralise and organic lemon juice to PH, also some biosys tea added when I've used it for my indoor plants to get the nice friendly bacteria and funghi going.
That was around 3 weeks ago and see the difference in size. Mrs tomato on the left has just started showing small tomatoes around 5-10 mm in diameter.
Mr tomato on the right has largest green tomato of around 15mm or so in size. You can just see it in the middle of the photo.

Thought it would be a bit of an experiment. Just goes to show a little of the right stuff goes a long way.
It's getting a bit of a jungle out the yard now, we have fruit and veg starting everywhere.
Finally getting some good old UK sun back.

The seeds are good to release happy hormones so ideal for depression apparently. Just eat them like a nut.
