Newbie here
I am just in the planning phase of growing. I am in Texas so I got to wait for more laws to pass. I am currently not growing and will be wrapping up and retiring from my non-weed career in the next few years. I plan on buying some land like some where in central to east Texas with sandy loam soils and rolling hills. Right now all we can legally grow is for CBD, that's sort of sad so I am looking forward to the actual THC approvals Texas will get one day. I'll take any pointers I can get on soil types, topography or what diseases and insects to watch out for etc etc. We have lots of insects and a very humid climate near where I live and where I plan to buy to land one day

Welcome, I cant advise on soil types etc as I am a hydro/coco grower, but we do have users from Texas here who may be able to help :)
