Drying Racking/Netting.
Hi Growmies,
Hope all is growing well and everyone is keeping safe.
I have currently been looking into drying racks and netting and wandered if anyone uses them and also if there is any kit anyone recommends?
I plan to dry in my tent. I have a temp controller on my outake fan.
I was hoping a rack like netting would make things easier as hanging in a .6 tent is a little tight at best of time.
Any I.put would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading and happy growing.

I also have the same net as Bulls if i can ever find the damn thing. They have 8 tiers and are 5ocm in circumference and about 7ft tall when fully open. Oh! And as bulls said they last for years.

That's one idea. Maybe this may improve the taste even?Elijahgrowz wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 8:09 amI just cut them down and hang them in the tent, each to thier own, I like to dry on the plants to much messing around getting all those buds off wets for my liking
Plus I use the stems to help tell me when nearly ready
I heard 4i hours of darkness before the chop increases resin production too.

Re: Drying Racking/Netting.
i like the look of those drying racks the only thing that puts me off is they also kinda look like large sifts and I would worry all the trichomes are ending up on the floor of your tent.

Re: Drying Racking/Netting.
Old Cannabis wives tale that is rik. The reason you dry in the dark is so the THC and other oils do not degrade. A plant needs light for food and produce more oils so putting in the dark will have no effect on THC production.I heard 4i hours of darkness before the chop increases resin production too.

Re: Drying Racking/Netting.
I always thought the same. Until I watched one of Swami's you Tube videos. He stated that the plant produces more smelly resins at night so to warn off any pests etc..... so harvesting early morning or before light is better.kbag wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 11:19 amOld Cannabis wives tale that is rik. Maybe it came from this theory?
Whichever way thank you all.
Think you've all put my confidence in the netting dry racks.
Time for some shopping.

Re: Drying Racking/Netting.
See what Kbag said. Light damages THC and tricomes.
The market sells UV protected glass jars to store and cure weed for this reason.
