What driver do you have Captain?captain beefheart wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 9:30 pmOkey cokey how the fuk do I wire this up? Because I'll be needing to do it soon and I wanna see its beam, Without setting my gaff on fire Ta.
Basically the boards have a plus and a minus (which is duplicated on each end - you only need to use one of each of them - either end connections are for wiring convenience). The wiring mostly depends on what type of driver you have i.e. constant current or variable and how you want to wire the diodes i.e. Series or Parallel. Also where you want the power cord going to the wall coming out from the light ie top middle or bottom / reft, right middle can be an influence.
Simple examples of each and excuse me if these are wrong as had a few beers, but you should be looking at something like the following:-
If you want to feed the light from either end of the fitting:-
If you want to feed the light from the middle of the fitting:-
DOUBLE CHECK THIS SHIT AS IT DEPENDS ON WHICH DRIVER YOU HAVE!! and this is just an example.
Did it come with wire? I found the best wire to use is the solid 'Twin and Earth' e.g. 1.0mm T&E cable that is commonly used for wiring up houses as these are well rated are also solid cored as those connectors are push fit.
I wouldn't mess to much with them once you have the wire in (or before as they break easily but only the plastic 'disengage part' - the spring tension part holds well and if you need to get the wire out a gentles 'wiggle' while gently pulling will do the trick)
Don't do anything until we double check mate but in my experience they are fine if you do it wrong and will just not turn on (although this was NOT the constant current driver so advice will be different).

Spot on mate if it is a series driver?. We still need to confirm how is going to be driving this and if they even included a driver I think before Mrs Beef get's the screwdriver out and wires it up for him ;o)MrNice wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 11:47 pmInvisible Sun LED ISH265 Pro quick assembly video
