Re: LED light......recommends
Growers Choice just released a nice one that will fit in a 1.2sq tent. I use Lumatek and so far I've found it works well. If you're stateside, you have the ElectricSky leds. There's also Gavita that do a nice unit too but those are more commercial lights.
Theres lots of options TBF and most of the newer bar style units perform around the same because they all use the same LEDs. I would bout about face and find a few you like then ask for opinions.
This is the unit I got in the end.

I would only use a Mars if it was given to me free and I had no other light to use.

They are great lights. The best LED light I've had so far.

Same, I've used hps Chinese boards, I've got a rack of cxb3590s I don’t even use any more now I've found some decent genuine British made leds with decent customer serviceThe Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 10:43 pmThey are great lights. The best LED light I've had so far.

Re: LED light......recommends
He might not have anything against IS and I kind of get why some people might not want to use them. Even though they come as a kit, they're a DIY light. Some may not be comfortable with this. The second big reason is the lack of waterproofing and protection of components.
I've got nothing against Invisible Sun and there are many amazing grow diaries displaying that they grow a decent plant but I can also see why someone might not to want to go there.
