Hey all
I've got a plant a few weeks into flower and my humuditity has dropped to around 30%, sometimes lower.
I've had a tray of water with a rag hanging out and it's done nothing.
Can anyone recomend a humidifier, or a solution?
The tent is small at 60x60 but it only has the one plant in.
Thanks in advance.
Tictok

Re: Humidifier Recommendation?
Hey Tictok,
I just got one from amazon. 2ltr Amazon basic one with a smart button on the thing so it would self regulate itself. It worked.
Use distilled water though if you're in a hard water area as the bicard builds up around the ultrasonic plate and they stop working.

Re: Humidifier Recommendation?
For humidification you can make your own using the 'misters' or just search for 'ultrasonic mister / fogger' these are a cheap way to put water into the air.
I have my DIY humidifier basically fill up when needed, based on a water float valve, and it contains 3x misters and a PC fan to give me a 2 speed humidifier remotely controlled via the 'Minty Hydro' automation. I can even set when it comes on etc based on the current humidity etc.
Here is a crazy video showing the initial construction / testing:-
That was of course before it was put into the container (shown here at the top / next to the camera): -
The de-humidification is however much harder and besides looking at Peltier cooling, I just purchased one.
Besides my setup there are some cheap USB devices you just stick in a glass/bottle of water and they mist like a mofo, for short term solutions these would help:-
