The optimum distance question is one that has troubled us since inception. It does vary but the guide distances are tryed and tested. People swear by 15 in flower and other people think different. It really is down to judgement and environment.

If its the 265V2 then between the boards. There is a large hole through which the dimmer is accessible underneath the rubber bung. Be gentle finger and thumb turning smallish philips screwdriver.
