Re: how high for a grow box
Hi Greenfingers,
I'm definitely not the most experienced grower here but I have a 2.5 x 2.5 footprint tent - and I think 3 x 3 would be way better. In my tent things get really tight when I have 2 plants next to each other, so unless you only want to grow one plant at a time, I'd go for 3x3. Height imo is more of a convenience thing - you can always find strain that stay short and you can train them further but if you have the space, it might make for more convenient working if the tent is taller but anything above 5 feet tall can work.

Re: how high for a grow box
When I started a few months back I had a 75 x 75. Then got another tent 80'80. Amd now I want another.
Advise from a newbie go as big as you can from start as you will always want more room.
I grow 1 plant per tent.

Re: how high for a grow box
A bit of LST`ing and carried on right through first 3 weeks of bloom and you should be good with 4ft in height. Possibly use a half decent 250watter cheap Chinese LED to get you a nice grow done. :)

Re: how high for a grow box
Not really its first time ive ever done or doing it my current grow and it goes all against what ive ever done in many moons of growing, removing lots of leaves etc, well way im doing does, im just following a guide from from growweed easy, but if yiou carry tieing down for 4 weeks until your into 12/12 you shopuld be good, you could possibly just stick plants straight into a grow sack or some sort of lower pot with plenty of room in a wide sense, theirs some guides where ive just said mate. Will get you a few pictures up in next week or so but kinda busy atmo in a rush. :)Greenfingers wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 6:16 pmLST = Low stress training , any good tips from start to finish ?jimmi2scoops wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 2:24 pmA bit of LST`ing and carried on right through first 3 weeks of bloom and you should be good with 4ft in height. Re: how high for a grow box
I just nipped tops when plants were small and tied anything down i could when stems were long enough also defoliating big fan leaves 2 or 3 times on around a 5 or 6 week veg i forgot tbh, plants are around 14 inches tall about 10 days into 12/12.
Then day 1 of 12/12 before last tieing down session and defoliation.
After defoliation and tieing down
And here`s where i was at at day 7 of 12/12
But one of those will fill your planned 2ft x 2ft floor space easily. I have just over 18inches width and about 36 inch in length on floor space.
I`ll keep ya updated on how its going and what i do in here with pictures mate if you`d like.
