I do have Aloe Vera growing, but they are not really at harvesting size yet.

I was in Home Bargains the other day and I coughed (hand over the mouth) and got some scary looks from 2 women nearby. I did say to them that it's okay, and that it's COPD and nothing else. Then I put my arms out like a zombie playing air piano and said "Coronavirus"

I'd like to stay at home more, but I am the only one that drives. It doesn't help that people are hoarding goods. Every shop I went into, no bog-roll. How much shitting are these people expecting to do ffs?Mrs Beefheart wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:52 pmbehave lol but seriously try stay home as much as u can and wifey both stay safe pleaseThe Aspie Toker wrote:I will try to.Mrs Beefheart wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:38 pmAll I can say hun is google is your friend try stay in as much as u can please

Thank you. I don't do any social media. I just wish people would stop panic buying. It's not necessary to do so, esp on the scale people have been doing.

Re: Coronavirus
Hi mate,Marcus wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 9:18 amHi Aspie, soap and water does the job dude
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1236 ... 97189.html
I could have done with a new small bottle of sanitiser for when out on the motorbike- I'd run out and notntoticed, you know, putting helmet on, face warmer etc after touching things in shops... But the selfish fuckers bought it all up so I got a little spray bottle with surgical spirit in and I just pump a spray on my hands before touching my helmet and face.
Both the wife and I have been using sanitizer long before it became fashionable, but because of pricks panic buying, it's hard to get hold of, and I am not in good health to go from shop to shop trying to get some.
I use soap and water when inside the house, but it's not possible when you're out and about in a car.
I have some surgical spirit on order, but it can be a tad harsh on the skin for some - hence the Aloe Vera.
BTW, do you touch your helmet often? Giggity.

Re: Coronavirus
Yes its sound , ive been making it with an isopropyl and vegetable glycerin mix myself to start with but i didn`t like feel it left on hands so ive gone back to 99.9isopropyl and water mix, but any type of hand moisturiser will do trick its basically only being used an emulsifier so isopropyl hangs about on hands longer for at least 20seconds, with the hand santizer. Its 70%alcohol/30%emulsifier.The Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:08 pmI will be making my own hand sanitizer and wondered if it was okay to use off-the-shelf Aloe Vera like this one...

Ive been adding 30% alcohol to bottled hand cleansing soap to kill virus on hands too when washing hands in shithouse.
Bleach for cleaning sides 70bleach/30water in spray bottle, also adding bleach to household cleansers Cif and such like
H202 and water works for killing it when cleraning sides too. But we have plenty of bleach, well atmo
My isopropyl supplier has trippled his prices as a point of interest it was around £5.00 per liter 2 weeks back and last week it was around £15.00

Thanks for that, mate. I'll save my Aloe Vera plants till they've grown more and use the above instead.jimmi2scoops wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 12:44 pmYes its sound , ive been making it with an isopropyl and vegetable glycerin mix myself to start with but i didn`t like feel it left on hands so ive gone back to 99.9isopropyl and water mix, but any type of hand moisturiser will do trick its basically only being used an emulsifier so isopropyl hangs about on hands longer for at least 20seconds, with the hand santizer.
