My train of thought lead me to add with molasses, not rather than molasses. My thinking was that we add molasses to feed the microbes which break the sugar into carbs for the final stage of plants life cycle, but as we grow in coco there isn't going to be the same population of microbes compared to a soil grow; so introduce them?

That was my thinking anyways

I use the normal healthy food store stuff. Meridian or something like that... Aspie will be able to help ya out, he linked me to what I'm using a long time ago

I've not done a co trolled test, but I've been told it adds an extra level of sweetness to buds and helps final stage frost development

Wish I had a grow shop around, nothing with like 40 miles. Never used nutes, not gonna buy until i can try though. Hardware stores around have some nutes, but I doubt any samples. Lucky you!

I have mammoth and think it adds but haven't done a side by side. If you do add molasses make sure it's unsulfured as the sulfur (forget what called), is a antimicrobial preservative.

yup someone had necro'd the topic and my only real point was about unsulphured vs sulfured molasses because of microbial killoff.
