There is a lid but they are too tall for it.

Got a plastic takeaway container over them just now. just enough to cover the 4 of them.

Il try moving the tube heater a bit higher

your going to see root penetration real soon, maybe think about potting up see if you can insulate the roots further you may find you can cover the pots easier too pal

yeah I got some 7.5L fabric pots im going to put them into tomorrow maybe.

I got that soil from B&Q someone reccommended but it had bugs in it so I got some better soil from the grow shop for repotting.

Also got some worm shit and bat guano too. What ratio soil/perlite/guano/worm shit you guys recommend for potting up for veg?

NPK for guano is 3-10-1, soil says it has worm castings and perlite already so not sure if I should add more.

Cheers.

Do I do it incrementally or just bang it on to 6 off in the afternoon straight away and let them run on tonight?
It will not affect them at all at this stage of life.

Alright good stuff thanks man. Mind at ease.

Im going to go with 10% worms, 5% bat, 10% perlite as the soil already has 10% worms and some perlite.

Excited to get into veg guysssssss!

So started seeing some issues.

These sprouted on 12th, transferred into 7.5L fabric pots on 24th. 20% perlite, 5% guano 20% worm castings.

They were not rootbound and took the transplant very well. Do seem to be growing pretty slow though and im worried about the white/brown spots on the leafs and also yellowing around the edge other leaves.

Been feeding them with ph around 6.8 and about a quarter dosage of liquid seaweed mixed in.

So 2 questions guys:

1. From examples Im seeing online this could be calcium deficiency due to soil PH being too high? Or is there something more obvious im missing? Need your knowledge and experience guys! XD

2. Should I move from 50W flourescant and onto the 500W LED now or wait longer? seems a waste of light when they are still so small.

Are you adjusting the PH of your water buddy? As you dont really need to in soil.

Are you spraying these with anything? There appears be some water drops on one of the pics. I'm gonna guess that you had light burn through a droplet on those leaves with brown dots

Finally, I think the yellowing is because your medium is what we call hot as in it's a bit rich in nutrients for a young plant so you having some nutrient burn

Numerous things going on here Haggis.

1. Over watered.
2. potted up, soil will prob have plenty of feed even to much in some cases for a few weeks. No need for feed liquid seaweed or ph the water.
3. stop foliar spraying.
4. Try to raise temps and lower the humidity a little.
5. Try to make sure your water is not to cold.
6. I think you are trying to look after them to well. Killing them with kindness as they say.

That would make sense. Obviously im in a bit too much of a rush haha

Will change out to normal water, leave the ph as is and water them a bit less.

Temps at a steady 19 - 23 now, humidity 70-85% usually.

Got a fan on low blowing on em too.

Whats a good rule of thumb for watering?

Thanks again guys, really appreciate the help.
