Re: what do you drive?
hi it makes me miss my bike more everyday, enjoy while you can

lol looks like me on a pushbike!

hi bulls nice motor,i like the colour thanks for sharing,
well on the subject of my wheels i have driven the old volvo for a few days and it seems finally for the first time since i started restoring her shes finally staying watertight, having had to do the radiator twice now due to a faulty unit and having allready replaced the waterpump and heater matrix along with all water hoses all with new and using stainless steel fixings,
this is a big relief as the constant water loss was worrying and had me thinking a head gasket job was on the cards

but sunday i get to drive it a few hundred miles to go fetch the grandkids and daughter for a visit for first time in ages,i know my tinas missed them terribly and am hoping it might cheer her up a little,
never used to look forward to driving the last car but this one is special and i even turn off the stereo just to hear the engine note better!

also decided on a smaller toolkit for the car and shall be posting the most useful things to carry in the car for emergencies or breakdowns
starting with this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173992815022 ... SwgNZgkxTL
bloody simple to use and no need to remove the wheel or tyre and can be a lifesaver.
happy motoring all.

Re: what do you drive?
hi all well my old volvo 850 has sat unused for a week since returning the grandkids back home a 250 mile round trip which it did on just over 3/4 of a tank of fuel and without a single misfire or incident which made me happy, did see several far more expensive and modern cars broken down on the motorway, makes a man smug when his diyed 30 yr old volvo passes a nearly new mercedes or 2 dead at side of road!
even the having to use e10 fuel seems little different she still flies along and i have to constantly slow myself down as she likes cruising at 90mph + and it hardly notices
got me thinking about the imminent government adgenda re getting rid of all fossil fuel cars and trying to force us all into overly expensive electric cars most of cant afford and are unable to charge and made me decide i do not care what they say or think i shall be sticking with my dino fuel beast as long as im alive and if they want to kill it they shall have to kill me along with it!
rush must have had a time machine back in the day when this song was written, bloody brill tune and seems to be coming true every word
mon the dino fuel beasts!
