Pipette (3ml)

Post by flip »

This is my product review for that essential piece of grow kit...thats right...the humble pipette.

Image

Cost

Coming in at £2.71 for a pack of 25, I'd say the pipette is a good value item. That's just under 11p each. What a bloody bargain. Cheaper than a Chomp and almost as chewy.

Background

Did you know that the first micropipette was patented in 1957 by Dr Heinrich Schnitger (Marburg, Germany)?

And that they work by creating a partial vacuum above the liquid-holding chamber and selectively releasing this vacuum to draw up and dispense liquid?

Fascinating!

Use

A doodle to use, just squeeze, suck and blast your minerally load wherever you please.

Your plants will love you for your nutritional precision, and your partner will shout at you if you get it in their hair.

Lol awesome, it's called a pasteur pipette. Gilson's are more accurate though but you have to calibrate them every 6 months to comply with ISO
