I've put a few pictures from my last grow in a 1.2m tent.
2 X 240w QBs.
The plants are Green crack auto's and the height difference was 50cm to 120cm.
I used one light till the last week's of flower.
I use a lux meter to help with lamp height and intensity.
The numbers you go for are..
Seedlings 5000 to 7000lux
Veg 15000 to 50000lux
Flower 45000 to 65000lux.
I bought a proper meter for £25 but you can get a phone app.
The diary is on here TT fast lap.
It was a real learning curve as I hadn't a clue
I found having 2 lights helped with the difference in plant height.ImageImageImage

I've never used HPS yet so I can't compare them to led.

Thank you I'll take a look at a meter :) At least I've got something to go with now.

Hey guys

Forgot to write back in here and confirm the code is multiple use, although I'd posted it on a new thread so anyone can take advantage if they want.

Looks very much similar to the Invisible Sun 100watter difference being its just Invisible Sun use latest Samsung lm301h chips, but all rest looks pretty much similar except yours is more expensive https://invisiblesunled.co.uk/collectio ... amsung-led

Oh you`ll notice a difference, use 600 iff you can get away with it as well. :)

If he`s gonna do a grow using hps light use a 600hps insterad of a 400hps if he can get away with it, what with temps etc. By the way Winter is best time for blasting a few hps grows out before next Summer when i knolw ill need to switch to LED. :)
