I'm sure it does do something, but the question is- can any product do enough in 2-3 days to justify it's cost? When flowering takes 9 weeks, I just feel like no miracle product could possibly add enough weight/trichs to make it worth usingNanook of the north wrote:I know winters frost does something josh, tho I'm not sure I'd use it again tbh. Nutrients seem to be getting stupidly priced, that rocks resonator keenos using is £250 odd a 5l !!!!
Dutch pro explode is similar, think they are taking the piss now tbh.
Yes i`m with you. :) Many moons ago i used to use simple sugars in coco no herd or anything, but yes dextrose (boost) and fructose (for taste) the final 3 weeks or so, costs pennies for a sack load and that should last a long time in not so many words lol. :) Even cheaper sucrose (white table sugar) which is dextrose/glucose and fructose combined.integrajosh wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 7:02 amSay it is just overpriced molasses, it won't do anything anyways, unless you're running completely organic.
Molasses is used as a carb source to feed microbes, which then go to town on making nutrients more available to the plant.
So no microbes and no amendments in the medium to break down= no need for sugar

Yep, gotta make sure that nothing is contaminated! LmaoMarcus wrote:Ooh, my plants love a cup of tea now and again Josh.
Black, no sugar though.![]()
I'll be watching dude. I like organic grows, it's just the bugs that put me off.
Neem used as a medium drench will kill off any bad shit like bugs in coco or soil as well, it will also become systemic to a certain extent if done a few times within the plant so in effect protects the plant above and below ground from bugs. :)integrajosh wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 7:45 amYep, gotta make sure that nothing is contaminated! I stopped keeping my stuff outside
Also, adding nematodes to the mix will destroy fungus gnat larvae and sticky traps catch the adults. They're the only thing I've had issues with
