Found these yesterday, they are cheap and include energy monitoring which is useful:

Theres a lot of these smart plugs floating around on Amazon..the majority are compatible with smartlife

I could see a couple of meross sensor integrations in HACS but not plugs, I will have to look again....
I've already got tasmota on all my sonoff devices. ...

These are the only cheap ones I have seen with energy monitoring though....

Fair enough. With that alexsonoff dudes integration there's no need to flash and you can keep it all local or cloud or both from what Ive read. I've not added the smart strip to hassio yet. Will let you know if I do and what I find
