These are AWESOME! THE BEST LAZIEST way to grow EVER!
I love NFT, for me, it is king.
The best part of these particular systems is....
Cost - they are cheap
Size - they are extremely low profile
Yeilds - I have yielded over 30 zips per tray.
Extremely low maintenance.
Cons? -
Pump failures are common ( all hydro systems ran 24/7 have this issue )
Black top - they come with a black sheet for the top - this is crap - put a white one ontop of it :) - needs to be 2 layer or it will shine through the white!
1 res for multiple plants - an issue with one will effect all.
res temps - needs a chiller.
