Simple Blast Tube

So I know GMO has done a thread on this but today I had a go at making my own blast tube:

I have been racking my brains for last couple of days on what to use, what better than an empty butane can?



I made sure it was empty and poked a small hole gently in the bottom to empty any gas before using a can opener to take off the bottom, I took only the inside leaving the rib around the edge for extra support.




Next I used a nail and a couple of taps with a hammer to break out the nozzle and spring thing, I used some pliers to gently flare the end of the can to help hold the zip ties or jubilee clips in place.



I had a couple of different micron stainless meshes so i put one inside the other, job done.......

i just tried it man,the can will hold 40g ground bud/sugar leaf, the stuff is sat purging in hot water, seemed to work well, took around 1.5 cans of 250ml, took a while to come through. Will update with a weight in a bit once ive finished scrapping it out lol, from my little 8g tube i normally get around 1g of BHO.

i got bang on 4g of product, mrs has got her phone and shes in bed so ive got no camera, will take a pic tomorrow, nice stuff though. From 40g of bud/popcorn for 4g of bho, return of 10%

re packed an re-blasted and got another 0.7 out of same material but as you can see in the pic, its not the same quality as first blast!




Today i have made 2 more tubes, tonight im going to blast another 120g, i want to make an oz of bho lol

I have been wondering what extract to play with this time, hash, bho, qwiso or rosin but tbh BHO gets me wrecked and ive found a good source for butane thats cheap and its dead EZ. I've done bubble bags and qwiso etc, i tried BHO once before but didnt get on with it to well but these new tubes make it so much easier to MT than my old thing thing.

yeh, a cheap titanium one that fits onto a bong downpipe dude! had it for a few yrs now

Blasted 3 tubes (about 140g of a mix of everything really) and got 15.8g back the rest is the weight of the parchment paper, slightly darker than last one, next time i will blast 1 can of gas per tube then re-pack and keep the second blast separate.
