Carta V Focus, OG

The Carta V Focus, OG is meant to be an electronic “dab rig” and she does a fine job at her intended use. Just some notable pro’s/con’s of the device, but some familiarity with the device or something similar is helpful.
Five rapid clicks of the power button turns unit on/off. One click changes cycle of the four different heat settings. Three rapid clicks is meant to indicate remaining battery power.

Basically, ya scrape out a wee bit of concentrate onto the spoon/dab tool. Then, drop into the banger/atomizer while the unit is heating/or already has heated. After that brief drop into the bucket, pull the spoon out and cover bowl with the carb cap. You can, now, inhale from the glass piece.

Personally, I don’t prefer to dab but due to the state’s stupid MMJ laws…the concentrates are pushed and flower is too costly. Too costly in days and price.

Pro’s:
1. Easy to use button with real clicks.
2. Removable batteries.
3. Speed of heating

Con’s:
1. Price @$249.99 USD is my only complaint. Glad I was able to get it at $187.50 for black Friday.

I really have very limited experience with this, but no complaints thus far. Technically, I have MS which makes using this difficult but not impossible. Hopefully, I’m able to say “it still works” six months from now.

It’s nice and tidy, able to stuff and jacket arm and not notice it’s there.

Well it’s been about a week I think… And apparently the piece of glass plugged up with the reclaim so I had to give her a clean.

Soaked the atomizer and the glass bubble in isopropyl. Reclaim was removed from the main unit where the bubble sits or the glass sits. Small opening leads to the atomizer. Be very neat so the Q-tips cotton does not remain where the atomizer threads in.

I ran the glass bubble under hot water along with the atomizer.

That’s it, unit is still functional and now I got to get some material… From the store… Later…

So it’s been one year and three months since I’ve purchased this and used it. I recently had to purchase a glass filter for the top and a new atomizer. Luckily, they sent me two of each, but charge me for one of each.


It still works, but the resin builds up frequently.

Building resin is good..it means you are enjoying the crap out of it.
