Fruit and veg olympics comp

hi folks next year next year were going to have a fruit and veg olympics comp where each member grows 5 different fruit and veg. The question is what fruit and veg is everyone interested in growing so please comment below on what you would like to grow in this comp.

here's a few plants we've been thinking of

potatoes
carrots
corn
tomatoes
strawberries
chillies
bell peppers
pumpkin

I'm trying an aubergine this yr , it's got flowers but they just dropping off
Radish are good
Onion I've tried over the yrs
And runner beans or French beans my favs

Sounds like my cimate. Pineapples take 2-3 years, coconuts gro on trees, and bannanas take 9 months to fruit bout a year to harvest. Lime tress are best not to let flower for 3 years otherwise future yields suffer dramatically. Love it smokey your in for the long haul brother.

I'll defo do chillies, I started some off in the tent and they're in the garden/conservatory now. Plucked one off and put it in a pasta sauce last night and was spicy as fuck.

I'm sure the missus will pick some others, has to be doable in a pot/ bag though as my garden is all patio.

I love my tropical fruits lol I was just messing although could be a comp in the comp person who can source the biggest of all the above lol biggest combined weight wins lol

Flowers often drop when they get too much N and not enough K Mrs. back off n feeds and add potash usually gets the job done

Well no melons cause its winter. Gave my pineapple pups away cause i dont have space. I got bannanas and limes. And no one wants a coconut tree in the backyard lol.
