TBH there need to be a way to make these comp threads a bit more visible, i often miss them because I simply dont come across them. Maybe have current running comps highlighted on the homepage or sumthen i dunno. I also remember this being a problem on another weed site, even though it was a bit busier there, often just never came across em.
