-=CMH Light Tech Talk=-
I have used 1000 Watt HPS lights before and high powered true 2000 Watt Blue/purple LED's, and I am currently resting on Quantum boards for space, heat, and electricity used per PAR output. My purpose here today is to ask the community if anyone has experience with Ceramic Metal Halide or CMH lamps. Now right now im using 4 LED panels and each one is drawing 135 watts and outputting equal PAR output as a single ended 250 watt HPS but i do notice they seem to work best for small grows in tents or closets and not so useful when I reach the larger 4 ft by 8 ft flood tables in an open room. That is why I wanted to turn to the new CMH tech. Is it fine to use a 315 watt single bulb fixture for the AMP draw or are the 2 single ended 315 bulb fixtures better or lastly the double ended CMH big boys?

To replace a 1000w hps ya need 3x 315 cmh to achieve similar results
