Re: LED Grow Lights....
There was something wrong with the 385W led I was running, I change it out for my 400W HPS, and my bill went down from 9 bucks a day to 7.80 a day.

Has your led got fan cooling? Maybe these pushed it's draw higher than 400w?hotshot wrote:There was something wrong with the 385W led I was running, I change it out for my 400W HPS, and my bill went down from 9 bucks a day to 7.80 a day.

Re: LED Grow Lights....
Welcome along dude. How long you been running quantum boards? I've just started using them myself and will be making a diy board soonloco_flogrw wrote:hay guys, this is my first post here. im from america in florida where its 90 degrees and 90 % humidity most of the year. I am currently using 4 quantum boards in a 48 inch by 24 in tent. each board has a equivalent PAR output of a 250watt hps and use 135 watts of juice. The LED diodes are made from SAMSUNG and are rated to last up to 100,000 hrs with less than a 5% loss in that time. They work well 8 inches away to 48 inches away from canopy with good penetration. Right now im running 2 plants, California Dream strain, in 5 gallon buckets with a 5 gal res and 2 peltier block chillers i had from some old water cooling project with a PC. I can share all my vids or pics if anyone wants to see any specific pics of my set up let me know. horticulture lighting group is the people that make them. they come with outrageous customer service and the board with ballast and heat sink is $185! my power bill is stupid low. i was able to leave my Veg time on for a 20 on 4 off it was so cheap. the heat they put off is small at best. Im an HVAC-R tech with over 5 years of schooling, i did all my research on the market and they kill it.
I take it your running 4 of the 128 x 2 panels setups rather than 288 or 304's?
Look forward to chatting and seeing what ya can do mate

I use Spectrum King leds and must say they do the job. I have the Closet Case versions 100 watts. Any way maybe this one fits for your measures: https://spectrumkingled.com/collections ... ucts/sk600
