100% root a clone and pop it into flower just to be sure, you don't wanna waste weeks, possibly months on something that isn't going to produce. I don't see any pistils in that picture, here are pistils..... like little white hairs. Good luck mate.

Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Hi and welcome along to the GrowroomTrillskrilla wrote:My plant is a little over a month old and has 5 nodes, I topped it at 5 nodes and that was a couple weeks back so all kinds of shoots are growing in-between each node and I'm worried that not tying down the plant would cut into the yield but I'm also worried about the process in general hurting the plant.

Do I put the clone in water or apply my homemade root hormone then put it in the soil

How do I go about taking a clone, I herd I can use honey, aloe vera, molasses, and even spit. But I looked it up and it says to let the roots grow two inches long before planting

It sounds like you should bury your head in some reading and understand more about the plant and what you are trying to accomplish with this grow.
For me, i cut clones with at least 2-3 nodes on the stem that I can strip leaves off of and bury those 2-3 nodes in a cup of soil. My process is… cut the clone off, trim off excess leaves, dunk in a cup of warm water, then rub the stem in an auxin based rooting powder, and then bang into the cup of soil under very low wattage CFL with a clear dome or some type of cover for the clones. I never leave water sitting in their tray but I do keep them consistently wet for 1-2 weeks until new growth shows up.

What light cycle do you use for your clones

Re: My plant is a month old and I just tied it down for lst
Good question mate. I use 18 on/ 6 off for my clones. And if it helps I dont have heat control for dem so its more or less 13 C at night.
They take root as long as dey r healthy. Its hard to predict how fast they will root. I use an auxin rooting powder and it can be as fast as 4 days or as slow as 2 weeks. I dont have a good explanation. I am also using water with live EM1 culture.
