So I'm done with those jiffy pellet things..
I'm going to start an auto straight in its final 5l pot as its going into a small area (gq60). I am using biobizz light mix that hasn't been fully saturated yet as I know it can drown the seed and lead to root rot and stunted growth etc
My plan is to wet the soil just around where the seed will be going in, probably around 100ml, dig a 1cm hole, pop the seed in and create a dome from the top of a 500ml water bottle to give it some humidity.
Does anyone use this method? Or is there a better way of doing it with almost guaranteed success all the time? Perhaps wet paper towel it first, then bury it?

I'm open to suggestions as I killed the last seed in the pellet and the high temps around 26/27 fried the first small leaves and its dead. No growth for like 3 days.
Thanks in advance
