The ISH FR8 is a supplemental lighting PCB which is designed to mimic sunset by supplying 730nm far red light for 10-15 minutes from at the start of lights out. This triggers the plants to go into sleep mode quicker which increases the amount of growth each plant can achieve during the night cycle by approximately 2.5 hours. This leads to fast flowering, decreased flowering cycle and in some cases potential for larger yields.

Looks like the board contains 8x Deep Red ? I really like this idea. I assume it can be used for more than the stated 15 mins etc and just depends on how the timer is being used?

Do you have any plans on doing the same with the Royal Blue diodes for added boost during Veg?

8 x far red not deep red.

if you have our lights already you have the far red in the boards, this new strip is for flower initiation, there would be no need to add anymore far red during lights on. if you dont have any of our lights it can be used inconjunction with hps and other hid systems, cmh ect.

My bad, thanks for the clarification. I do indeed have your lights (9x RStrips and ISH150BR) and I have to say I LOVE THEM, and yes these would be a perfect addition to HPS etc.

He’s saying you’d still use this with your lights Minty, I believe. You run these after lights out to give out just far red and put the plants to sleep quicker. Gives you the ability to get some benefits of the lights with tunable spectrums and the controllers that can have them do a sunset feature and whatnot for cheaper. Your lights don’t have the ability to only put out the far red, so this will take care of that.

What about a uvb strip light around 290 to 320nm for added stickyness used later in bloom for a few weeks, i reckon a 20watter would rock it up on sticky bud menu, in fact i`d buy one myself. Any plans for summink like that @Invisible Sun ?
