I have a load of opium poppy seeds too if you want some. Although they came from one pod originally, they produced a variety of flowers. Some pink double headed (the original). Some single pinks, some red and almost black singles, and red doubles.

No problem. You just need to scatter them and not plant them. They need light to germinate. They are legal to grow in the UK. It's just an offence to extract the opium from the pods.

Yet they came from a poppy that looked like this...

The seeds were taken from a variety of heads. Some only grew 4-5 inches where others grew 5+ feet. That could be down to the soil in the garden as it varies quite a lot.

So a week or 2 since ive updated my garden thread.

so here we go

Out front has gone wild but its all ok. the mini trees are same size as sun of the poppys but they get deep root feeds so happy.

Out in the back things seem to be growing. The Bacci is starting to get bigger
