Hi all,
I am considering buying or making a small aquaponics system eventually. This is not for cannabis - but for self sustainability and possibly dare I say it, as a job!
I am in the UK but there are so many questions involved....
Is it legal to sell the veg or fish, do I need a licence etc etc. Where do I get equipment, do I need a huge pollytunnel or greenhouse, etc etc.
Any comments from experience or even other questions encouraged :)

Chickens, telapia and corn. Premaculture sorted
I believe you'll be operating under the farming umbrella so will likely have to meet animal welfare and good practice guidelines already in place
I'm very interested mate.
Best of luck

This channel may be interesting to you BG. I've heard a few podcasts with this guy as a guest and he's very ahead of most in regard to aquaponics.

Where did you get to with that idea Black. I've mentioned it to my uncle and he was very interested. He likes fish, and also has a few spare old baths haha. I think he is up for the idea of doing it.

Re: Aquaponics - an open thread
Thanks :)
I got the idea because I'm a tight jock I dream of escaping the rat race and being at least semi self sufficient - ie if I could save money but make veg and food, I could cut down working for a crap employer :)
