Sow seeds directly in the ground (outdoor garden)???

Hello,
I got my seeds! I’m so exited but scared of messing it up again (I killed 6 seedlings) 😞
I was wondering if I could sow the seeds directly in my garden now that the weather is good here in Massachusetts.
What are your thoughts?

I never go right into the ground, simply because my germ rate is much lower when I do

For your best shot
Soak in bottle water for like a day
Put on a plate with a couple wet paper towels folded over it
Check and wet towel so it stays moist for a day or two
Once the roots out about 1/4 or so inches plant it :)

I’m dam near 100% that way compared to like 20-30 just sticking them in soil, especially in ground

I agree with all the above. When using water to pre-soak and starting in tissue etc you mitigate risks like pathogens etc.

Thanks to all! I just put them in a black container with wet paper towels. Wish me luck!
Last month when I killed the 6 seeds I had I followed the same method but after They germinated They started to die?!!
I really don’t know what I did wrong....
