Trying to fix bad habits
Hi guys! In the last 3 weeks or so i've started a new plant but the results (even if they were definitely better then my other times) were pretty bad. Finally i've gathered all the equipment to grow indoor and so i wanted to be sure to avoid stupid mistakes and maybe finally get decent results. At the moment i'm sure that my main issue is the almost complete lack of watering tecnique and even if i understood for the most part the basics i'm not very confident at it. I've been growing in 3 gal fabric pots and i started with half bottle cap for a few days to retain humidity inside but i haven't really understood if i need to water inside the "dome" for the first days (lightly with a sprayer) or just stick with watering at the edges or maybe both. I read that i need to reach a small runoff even when watering seedlings but to me it seems pretty difficult even if i've added 40% or so of perlite. If anyone were kind enough to clear up my doubts i would be very, very grateful. As i said a few times i'm a total newbie in gardening/growing and so surely lack the skills and knowledge of a seasoned grower but i'm trying to make it up with every attempt. I know i've asked similar questions before but i'm very stubborn when trying to learn completely new things and i may need a few explainations more than usual. Anyway i thank you all for all the great help i receive with every post and i you have a fantastic day :)

Frank try requesting a mentor to help you through a full grow cycle. Will help you no end to learning the basics and will most likely get you a decent grow at the end.

Are you growing photos or autos?
I ask because you mentioned 3 gallon pots. For autos, that's a bit too large IMO, but if they're photos, okay, but you never mentioned if you've potted up or started off in those pots.

Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

Re: Trying to fix bad habits
They're autos. I've heard about starting them in big pots to avoid transplants but now i'm not really able to figure out if i'm watering the correct way.The Aspie Toker wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 3:00 pmWelcome aboard.frankthirtyspears wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 10:18 amHi guys!
