Hey gr420
More first grow fun.
My Auto Brooklyn Sunrise are close to harvest, but seemed to be taking forever. The pack says 11 weeks (I know that's a ballpark figure) but they they've almost gone to week 14. They've been on 20/4 as recommended all their life.
I've got amber's on the the tops but as you move down the cola, it's just all cloudy with a hint of some turning amber. The lowest buds are just all cloudy.
I've been using a Kingbo 300w (120w draw) along with a little 18w bloom light to help with the reds.
The Kingbo light has a veg switch and a bloom switch (but you always run both).
I've just discovered the red bloom switch has broken, so I've had no red spectrum (except from the 18w bloom light) for god knows how long.
I'm really keen not to harvest too early, I cannot stand racy weed, but should I just leave them to mature with the current set up or will the lack of red screw things up?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Bloody hell that looks great! 14 weeks :o
Is it the switch or is it the lamps?

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Hey nanook,
Don't know mate, I'm thinking it's the switch or something on the red led bloom circuit. I'm no electrician, so all I know is I've lost my red spectrum!

Re: Light half broke!
might be as simple as a switch, could be more. Shame you dont have a fluke or you could possibly test it :)

Re: Light half broke!
I know, I might have to get into it to see, I could do picking one up anyway as I'm getting into other electronics.
Do you think it will screw the grow up as it is? At a push I reckon it still might be another week at least.

It's a minefield this lark when it's your first proper time!
I had some stardawg bagseed once, grew it out but harvested when Amber's were just at the top. Couldn't sleep on the stuff for toffee, it was almost like that horrible white powder the Bolivians love so much it was that racy!
