Hi guys,
Very new here and I’ve got a few questions so any help you can provide is appreciated.
I have a very small indoor grow, 6 x 9 grow tent/LED lights, 16/8 light schedule. I have a 3-4 ft auto flower in the early stages of flowering.
I also have a 1 1/2 ft plant in the vegetative stage (7 weeks) in the same tent, however this plant is 2 weeks newer than the above plant.
Plant #1 purchased auto flower seeds
Plant #2 random 5-6 year old seed.
I cannot figure out the sex of plant #2, and I’m concerned it may be male so I’d like to separate the 2 plants, but I’m just not sure yet. I’m hoping to share a few pics of plant #2 in hopes some of you smarter than me people can offer input. That’s if I can figure out how to upload a picture
Thanks

Re: Plant gender ID
Not sure what your actually meaning, but if you have a photo period plant in veg with auto that's on 16/8 well its not gonna flower so its not a worry whether its a male or female cus it needs to be on summink like 12/12 light hours to induce flowering of a photoperiod plant, but if its an auto plant odds are it should be fem auto so not to worry, ok it might be a male, i mean people do buy reg autos just not seen many do that, but if your growing autos for bud most buy fems beans from what I've seen around net.
If its a photoperiod seed in veg for 7 weeks and your looking to sex it whilst its in veg it should be showing sex by now or not far off. But a mature fem should have hairs appearing from its stipules which is where the calyxs appear when they start form buds.
Check these pics out they may help.
Maybe get a grow diary going so peeps can comment and help out. Welcome to site.

Re: Plant gender ID
Thank you for replying, I’m learning, and a diary makes perfect sense. I started one but have been pretty lax and now realize that was a mistake lol.
The plant has Stipules but neither Pistils or Staminate Primordia are present. If I’m maintaining the 18/6 light schedule, is it safe to house both plants in the same grow tent, until the sex of plant be determined? My other plant is a female auto flower in early flowering stage. Thank you again for your help.
