The air pruning or drying out and dying off of the roots that do come out of the pot you have should work well in your system
It can actually encourage a very healthy root mass within the pot
I'm gonna still say go with your gut, if you want the roots contained carry on. If ya want to encourage them out then feeding more regular with help them survive in the air longer
Either way, I dont think your going to suffer, but I would think about upping feed slightly. She looks ready for a bit more grub

Re: slow growth check up
I currently flood 4x a day lights on. And at an EC of 0.6 ppm of 290
Changing the reservoir today. And was planning on upping the nutes:) was going to aim for an EC of 1.4ish or is that too much of a jump?

Re: slow growth check up
The 4 times a day sounds good
yeah that is a pretty big jump, usually 0.1-0.2 EC then give it 3-5 days to see reaction. id go to 0.8 EC maybe up to 1.0 EC if you think she will take it :)

Re: slow growth check up
I forgot to add, she is really stinky already:) *bumshake* walked into my house yesterday (even though she is in a cupboard, in a closed room) and it smelt like a Cyprus Hill concert. I love it.
