Sooo if your a LED newbie I’m going to be sharing some info I come across here. Some of it will be about basic light science and LED but mostly QBs
I found this article (And site) to be really informative and it starts with the assumption that you know very little (that’s me) but has enough info even someone like Invis Sun or GMO May enjoy the read.
They sound basic but they do a good pretty deep dive with some great other links included throughout

I have a Phlizon COB and 2 240w QBs. The Cob generates more heat and is quite noisy with the fan.Joker59 wrote:*Sorry if there’s one like this! My search isn’t working lol*

I'm on my first grow with QBs so can't give a comparison on performance yet.
If you are concerned about heat or noise I'd go for QB.
If your on a budget go for the Phlizon.
Got mine for £125 it draws 245w. They say it's a 1000w.
I have to say for the money it's a bargain.
I'm going to keep it for winter use.

Cree cobs or Samnsung QB both are virtually same on umol menu around 2.7 to 3.0 umol whatever that means, but i reckon you can produce more intense beam of light with Cree cobs for better penetration of light into plant by using the right 90 to 120 degree lenses to intensify the beam angle. Do QB use any sort of lense or is the beam angle just set wide at 180 degrees ? What do you reckon guys ?
