So mate finally got my Growstones stabilised

and checked my seeds there and they will be ready to plant in the pellets in the morning

I’m good to go with prepping the coir pellets mate but just double checking what I should put in my system for the air stone bubblers to splash up and hit the bottom of the net pot?

I was going to put a half strength solution of grow a+b and katana roots?

Morning dude so this morning I had a trial run to see what my EC was going to be after I added half strength nutrients to the system. So the feeding guide I was following (the only one I know lol) says for week one

Hydrogrow a - 2/3ml/l
Hydrogrow b - 2/3ml/l
Katana roots - 0.2ml/l

I have a 50litre reservoir so I added half strength of the above to my system

Grow a - 50ml
Grow b - 50ml
Katana - 5ml

When I checked the EC it was sitting at 0.7 now I know this is too high so I was wondering should I half this again? That would mean adding quarter strength nutes to the system? And take the the EC to around 0.4. My background EC before I added anything was at 0.1

Im about to soak my pellets this morning in a half strength solution of katana roots for planting my seeds. I am now thinking should I maybe go quartet strength with this as well? I’m guessing the EC for soaking the pellets should be 0.2 above my background EC?

Honestly I don't use anything first week after popping. You can use 1/2 strength root stimulation but as for grow nutes don't go over 0.4ec max.

Cheers mate that’s the EC in my system at 0.3 now. Gonna set the pellets up and get these babies planted

Morning bro just thought I’d post a wee update for you this morning. All four in the system have popped their wee head through two nice healthy leaves on each. I planted an extra 2 just incase I lost one in the system and they have also came through

will get a wee pic up this evening after I get in from work
