Crockett Family Farms (DNA Genetics) Cherry #18 Batmix/Coco -> Aeroponic Grumpy style

Hey GR420,

So it's about time I cracked some more seeds me thinks. And this time around I have some Cherry #18. I've not done many fruity strains before but this looks pretty tasty and I've been feeling the Cali strains recently so I's thought I'd give it a run and see wat gwan. Let's start with the linage :D Cherry #18 is an indica dominant, short flowering strain that should be a terpene powerhouse. Acidic fruit and fuel so I'm told. it sounded like it would be a nice night time smoke to send you off to sleep. Just what I need when I'm locked up with lots of kids!! Something to knock me out so I can zone out :D

Plants will be started off in a 50/50 Batmix/Coco blended media using the usual RO water and Plagron Alga grow with a few extras. Then they will be chopped up into 20 clones ready to populate my new tent kit. I'll leave the details of that for when it all arrives and I have it set up and running. It's looking pretty sexy on paper!

I'll be germinating these just by soaking in RO water with a little wetter until they sink. Then they will go straight into some small 1/2ltr pots.

Hey gr420!

So I'll drop down to weekly updates from now. My diaries are pretty boring anyway

We have lift off! #1 has been up for a few days and #2 has just popped up and I've removed it's jackets. I'm really pleased with the germinating speed of these guys.

I'm a bit behind with the mangos and they need another week to branch out so I can get enough clones. They're kind of shoved at the back and at the bottom of the tent. I may grab a little CFL and pop em in my 1.2m tent until the veg tent is clear. I'll play it by ear.

I've been spraying the tops of the pots with a mix of urb, nitrozyme and wetting agent mixed in RO water. I also pop a little CalMag in to stabilise the PH of the water as the Nitrozyme skews things quite a bit.

I've been a little slack with these and may have upset them. They've been pulled from pillar to post while I scramble to sort my room out. I've also not been feeding enough I think. Must be a humgry strain? I've added some urb and a small amount of feed and will see how it goes.
