bah, wish I hadn't bothered starting this grow at this time of year, and cant understand why the 8 inch fan /filter isn't doing more to keep temps down.
I hear you and feel your pain - and it is only going to get worst I think.

root issues persist, temps are still too high, even tho its cold outside and lights are still on 400watt.

I had 6 no. 600s running with 8 inch intake 12 extract , outside temps the same as now before with zero over heating issues and temps around 26/27
now ive got 4 No. 400watters, with 10 inch intake and 12 +8 extractors and same temps!!!!
how the fuk does that work then.
Answers on a postcard
I had the same problem, turns out my filter was clogged to fuck

i did wonder if it was the filter, but its really no that old, maybe 2 grows.
I took the ducting off the top of the fan and its whooshing away merrily, so I don't know, must just be the outside temps.
Im running 2 x 12 inch filters, one from a 8 inch fan (new filter) and one from a 12 incher . these are the big metre long ones so no shortage of surface area.
I guess its just the higher outside temps.

well, it looks like my magic piss has done the trick, lol
the roots look a lot better, but the plants- hmmm, they dont like 4000watt settings and neither do i, they are skinny wee rabbitts compared to where they should be by this stage, (big bounding hares). fuck 400 watts i say, i pumped them up to 600 today, but they have been on 400 for a fortnight or so, bah, summer growing issues.
the blue cheeses are suffering worst, stretching out a fair bit, apart from "el runto"

by this stage i would normally be flipping, the plants are usually touching each other (not like that ,,,,,you pervs).
looks like ive got at least another week, maybe 2 before flip, the electric isnt any cheaper either.

so here they are today, i topped them again a couple of days ago, so thats 2 toppings they have had now. thats it i reckon, willl see how they grow.
original blue ched piccie, its growing up, but i want it growing outwards.....Image
other blue chedz. look at runtus- pathetic isnt it?

other side of the room
criticals and moby dicksImageImage

in all honesty, i wish i hadnt started this grow, at this time of year.

Same here, but in a few years it's probably gonna be like this all year round so might as well practise dealing with it ;o)
