It's not the lights. If it was, the top would be effected, not the bottom
I'm gonna say its a nutrient issue. The other leaves look like they have signs of burn on them and the big leaves twisting to one side say the same. Your soils too hot
Yeah that is probably the case. Well done KD, that went straight over my head.
I will let her grow out. See what happens. Things will cool down after a while.
She will find her feet I hope. I have slowed down on watering for the last couple of days.
Maybe an aloe drench would help it?
What do you mean "I have slowed down on watering for the last couple of days"? How often are you watering her? It could be overwatering that's done it too as water makes nutrients more mobile in the medium.
I'm sure as she gets bigger she'll smash it no worries as she gets better at using the nutes she has around her. Your old roots will be getting broken down into food as well as anything you've dressed the top with too don't forget.
I reckon an aloe drink would be a good idea but not yet. Leave her to dry out a little and see what happens. Obviously don't let the soil get dry dry cause your microbes need that moisture but I wouldn't wet it again for at least a week if you last watered her a few days ago.
With soil you water it... They're fed but suffocating. You let it dry out a bit... They get hungry but can breathe. This is why I bottom water a small amount every other day and do a larger amount when the top cm or so is dry dry. Her water roots can sup and keep her hydrated while the rest can breathe. That's my theory anyway
