Thanks guys. I'll pop the cf on when I smell some pong Duke. :oik!:

I've had to take the cmh out today, it's too hot for it in there and the thermal safety cut out keeps tripping the ballast. :bang head:

So I popped the LED in there instead, still at 29*C ish. FFS. :bang head: :bang head:

They all had a litre of Welsh water through them with a mosquito dunk soaked overnight to try and kill the fungus gnat larvae. :ak: :oik!:

I got me a new Black Orchid extractor fan just recently @Marcus but instead of the rvk/ruk kind i bought me a hybrid fan, its twin speed and and on lowest speed setting on full it moves a little more than my old rvk type, but yes when on full whack it blasts shit loads more were talking x 2 as much. Anyhow gist of it is my room hasn`t been over 30c according to variac temp controller and 31c with hygrometer. That`s running with 400hps and 100 led in that small dinky cupboard grow space that i use. I`m well impressed with it to say the least mate. I recon i could get 600 hps in their tbh not that it`s called for. Thought i`d mention it.

Would the extraction not move more heat if it was attached to top of grow room where heat rises as well, just a thought.

I've got the tent door open Jimmi and a fan up top taking the air away from the lamp. I've had it before with this ballast when it gets too hot, it just turns the lamp off. :idn:

The LEDs will do for summer use though. It's easily the hottest room in the house, so I need to get a little drobe built in the garage.

I got a 10inch GAS extractor if I need it, but it'll suck the shit out of the tent.

Cheers man, the light is an Invisible Sun one. 4RXL I think. I cut the bars down to fit the 1.2 tent and re-positioned the lights on it for an even spread.

I really like my 315w CMH, but it's too hot in this house for it so the LEDs do the trick just as good. (I hope) :oik!:

LED light also off after coming on this morning... Looks like my digital time switch is fucked.

No wonder Maplins went bust.

:bang head:

BUT, it's gonna be 26*C at the weekend and the tent's hitting 28*C with it being 18*C outside, so I'm running the LED for the rest of the grow and keeping the CMH for the winter.

Well, another rotation of this rock we live on has passed...

:morning:

They all seem to like life at the moment.

I haven't touched them today, might not need to till the weekend and I may give them a squirt of organic liquid grub.
